The "invisible support" of loose skin fall into three categories: single or single stranded PDOs, spiral PDOs and COGs or spiny PDOs.
The single-stranded threads are ideal for tightening the skin by being placed under the skin and stimulate the production of collagen around them. Spiral yarns are intended for areas that need lifting and volume, in order to reduce immersions, for example on the cheeks.
COG threads are placed in areas that need immediate traction and support, such as the contour of the lower jaw and loose cheekbones. They are also chosen to achieve a V-shaped face contour.
The number of threads per treatment is determined by the nature and location of the area showing the looseness problem. Ideal candidates for the thread lift therapy, are both men and women, aged 35-65 years old, who have lost the firmness and the volume of the skin, as a result of which the proportions of the face and its youthful appearance have been lost.
